The other day I was thinking to myself: why do so many people quit the Internet marketing business feeling so full of frustration? The honest answer to this question is almost impossible to come up with. After all, there are a lot of reasons why somebody might quit this business. However, in my experience there is one key factor that differentiates the winners from losers. What is that factor? Either having or not having a goal. Let me explain.

People who have a clearly defined goal typically become successful in this business. Why is that? There are a variety of reasons for this. First of all, people with a goal have a clear sense of mission. They know exactly what it is that they want to achieve and as a result, they are able to formulate a day to day schedule that is designed to get them closer to their goal. People who do not have a goal, on the other hand, usually end up at Internet marketing message forums.

Here's the bottom line: if you want to be an Internet marketing winner and avoid failure and frustration you really need to focus on developing a goal. Once you have a goal, you can then formulate a day-to-day schedule designed to move you closer to reaching that goal. Will this be easy? Not at first, but it is critical that you formulate a goal and daily schedule.
