The other day I was wondering if finding success as an Internet marketer could somehow be made easier for beginners. The more I thought about this question, the more convinced I became that a critical component is for a person to have a goal. Think about it this way -- how can you get to a destination if you do not know what that destination is before you depart on your journey? It is the same way with Internet marketing.
Spend as long as it takes to write down a simple goal. I'm only talking about a couple of sentences here, not some elaborate business plan. I want you to really think about what you want to achieve as an Internet marketer, and I want you to think about how quickly you want to achieve this. This might seem difficult, but I promise you that it's an absolutely necessary step to take if you really want to boost your chances of being successful.
In addition to having a clearly articulated goal, I want you to spend some time thinking about a daily set of activities that will be designed to move you in the direction of your goal on a daily basis.
This is incredibly important because without a clearer daily schedule is far too easy to become distracted and frustrated. So spend the time to create a realistic daily schedule. If you have a full-time job, it is probably not realistic to assume you will be able to work for eight hours after getting home from a long day at work. Make sense? With a goal and a daily schedule you might be surprised by just how successful you become in this business.
